VialLog is a personal record-keeping and calculator app. This policy describes what it does with your information. It is short because the app does very little with it.

The short version

VialLog stores everything you enter in a database on your own device. There is no VialLog account and no VialLog server. We — the developer — cannot see your records, because they never reach us.

There are two exceptions, both automatic: subscriptions and the paywall screens. When you subscribe or restore a purchase, purchase information goes to Apple and to RevenueCat, the service that manages subscriptions for this app. When the app shows you a subscription screen, Superwall receives that it happened. Neither receives any of your health records.

What the app stores on your device

Everything you enter yourself:

• Compounds, vials, and protocols you create
• Doses you log, including amount, unit, injection site, route, and time
• Blood work panels and results you enter
• Weight entries, symptom entries, check-ins, and notes
• Photos and files you attach
• App settings, including reminder preferences

This is stored in a private database inside the app's own storage area, which other apps on your device cannot read. It is not encrypted beyond the device-level encryption your operating system already applies when your device is locked with a passcode, PIN, or biometric.

Some of this is health information. It is treated the same way as everything else in the app: kept on your device, never transmitted, never sold.

What leaves your device

Your health records never leave. Subscription information does. Specifically:

1. Subscriptions (automatic). This app uses RevenueCat to manage subscriptions. When you subscribe, restore a purchase, or the app checks whether your subscription is active, RevenueCat receives your App Store purchase receipt and an anonymous identifier it assigns to your installation. It does not receive your compounds, vials, doses, blood work, photos, or notes. Payment is handled entirely by Apple; neither we nor RevenueCat ever see your card details. 2. Paywalls (automatic). This app uses Superwall to decide which subscription screen to show and to measure whether it worked. Whenever the app shows a subscription screen — when you open it without an active subscription, or tap something that needs one — Superwall receives which screen or action it was, whether a paywall was shown, whether you subscribed and to which plan, an anonymous identifier it assigns to your installation, your device’s vendor identifier (an ID Apple assigns, shared only with other apps from the same developer — it is not the advertising identifier), and basic device and app information such as model, operating-system version, language, time zone, connection type, app version and install date, how many subscription screens you have already seen, and whether your subscription is currently active. It also sees the IP address your device connects from and infers an approximate country and region from it. It does not receive your compounds, vials, doses, blood work, photos, or notes, and this app deliberately sends it no attributes about you: not your name, not your goals, not how much you have recorded. 3. Exports and reports (you initiate). When you tap Export or generate a PDF report, the app writes a file and hands it to your operating system's share sheet. Where it goes from there — email, cloud drive, printer, another app — is entirely your choice. Nothing is uploaded automatically.
